Because I'm a weathernerd like that..
It's my birthday today =) Ernesto was downgraded to a tropical storm, BUT since he's left FL & started hanging out over the ocean, he has strengthened some. We might get a wimpy category 2 or something from him.. which is cool with me because we'll go to my in-laws & crash there for the night in case we loose power. Anyways, hurricane parties are the best & since it's my day of birth- it will be even more fun to par-tay ;)
We're under a Tropical Storm Warning & Hurricane Advisory. I don't think he will effect us much. There are some naysayers who disagree.. they think he'll pick back up once over the Atlantic again, but I'm doubtful.
We live on the North Carolina coast, about 45 min north of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
We all spent the night in our (mine & K's) bedroom last night. The window unit rocks my socks- it was around 68 degrees in here all night. Kenan attempted to fix the ductwork under the house, & it's blowing out cold air- but it doesn't seem to be doing much to cool off the house. I don't know what the hell is up with the a/c unit.
Last night (& today as well now) Baby has been doing this "pushing down" thing. It'll get to where I get sharp shooting pains in my cervix, upper legs/hips, & lower back. This morning I woke up to quite a bit of bloody show! I have an appt. tomorrow morning, so I hope nothing major happens between now & then. Planning on resting as much as possible today.
It's 91 degrees in my house right now! Our a/c is offically broken =\
My darling man knows I shouldn't be in the heat & he brought home a window unit that is keeping our bedroom nice & cool. We're going to see if it'll cool the rest of the house later tonight once he gets home, but for now the kids & I are holed up in here.
So I am 33 weeks today.. I have that impending feeling that I won't be pregnant much longer. My docs don't expect me to go much longer either, considering my history. I'd love to make it to 36 weeks because we're so not ready!
We have decided on names- Lucy Jane & Dana Mitchell. We have a pretty good idea we know what Baby is, but that was only because the little stinker decided to flash us at our 28 week Level II scan- we weren't told "officially". I still think the whole secret part of it is pretty fun =D
